Sundarbans are the 52nd world heritage site. It is  situated in the southern part of Bangladesh. The Bay of  Bangal is adjacent to the Sundarbans. It is renowned for  its natural beauty and wild life. It is also known as  mangrove forest.  'Sundaree' trees are abundant in the  Sundarbans and this is the reason of its being named  Sundarbans. In some place, sunlight can't reach on  ground due to the density of 'sundaree' trees. The shade  makes the forest an utopia at daytime. It's wildlife is  famous also. Various kinds of monkeys along with the famous Royal Bengal Tiger reign here. Beside these, many kinds of birds, deer, fox, crocodiles and birds in the Sundarbans.
Now-a-days, it is very easy to go to the Sundarbans. One can go there by roads or water-ways. The best way to go there is by steamer from Sadarghat enjoying the scenes of inland-rivers of the Sundarbans.
